Position: Part-time Housekeeper/Laundress
Schedule: 2 days per week (Tues. & Thurs. or Tues. & Fri.), 9am 5pm
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $35/hour
General Responsibilities:

Provide museum quality care for antiques, delicate surfaces, and fine linens - Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected and notify the homeowner of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Check and maintain housekeeping tools and supply inventory and report any needs
- Stock control and inventory of daily foods (yogurt, milk, fruits, OJ) and pantry staples (peanut butter, butter, flour, sugar, bottled water), when homeowner is in residence
- Regularly cleaning of the refrigerator and freezer, and discarding out-of-date and spoiled products
- Wipe outside kitchen / pantry cabinets
- Clean inside of cabinets
- Deep clean stoves, hoods, vent, and controls
- Wash (sometimes hand wash), iron, all clothing; review and maintain wardrobes ensuring all clothing is placed in the correct closets and drawers
- Review and polish shoes and accessories, as needed
- Wash bedding as needed, press pillowcases and top sheet entirely
- Sweep and tidy terrace as needed
- Errands as needed
